The Chom Chao flyover and underpass construction are 55% complete and scheduled for completion by 2021, according to the Phnom Penh Department of Public Works and Transport.

Director of the Department of Public Works and Transport Sam Piseth said on September 26 that the team are currently working actively on the flyover while the construction of the subway is approaching the completion.

The Chom Chao flyover and underpass are implemented by the OCIC under the budget of US$ 22 million. The project broke ground in June 2018 and will take 30 months to complete.
The whole project includes five sections including the main flyover connecting the Russian Blvd to NR 3, a bridge connecting the Russain Blvd to Veng Sreng Road, a bridge connecting Veng Sreng Road to NR3, an underpass connecting Veng Sreng Road to NR4, and a road connecting NR 4 to Russian Blvd. (Read more and more)

After completion, the Chom Chao flyover will be the sixth flyover in the capital after Psar Dey Huy, Kbal Thnal, Stueng Mean Chey, 7 Makara, and 5 Makara.
